Gravy Challenge Course
Materials Needed:
- Gravy (or a thick liquid)
- Plastic cups
- Small obstacles (cones, chairs, etc.)
How to Play:
- Set up an obstacle course with various challenges (like crawling under tables, jumping over cones, etc.).
- Players must carry a cup of gravy from start to finish without spilling it.
- If they spill, they must return to the starting point and try again.
- The player who completes the course with the most gravy remaining wins!
Gravy Toss
Materials Needed:
- Small buckets or containers
- Softballs (like sponge balls)
- Gravy (or a thick liquid)
How to Play:
- Set up two buckets at a distance from a starting line, one filled with gravy and the other empty.
- Players take turns tossing sponge balls into the bucket filled with gravy, then must run to the empty bucket and try to transfer some of the “gravy” onto a sponge or ball.
- After transferring, they run back and tag the next teammate.
- The team that transfers the most “gravy” in a set time wins.
Gravy Balloon Pop
Materials Needed:
- Balloons
- Gravy (or a thick liquid)
- Towels for cleanup
How to Play:
- Fill several balloons with gravy (or another thick liquid) and inflate them.
- Divide players into teams.
- Set a timer, and each team must try to pop as many balloons as possible using only their bodies (no hands).
- After the time is up, the team with the most popped balloons wins!
Gravy Pictionary
Materials Needed:
- Large Paper Pad or Wipeable White Board
- Paint Brushes
- Gravy
How to Play:
- Divide players into teams.
- One player from a team draws a slip of paper with a Thanksgiving time word or phrase and has to draw/paint it using a paint brush and gracy on the board without using words or letters.
- Their team has a limited time to guess what it is.
- Rotate through teams, and keep score. The team with the most correct guesses at the end wins!
