Allowing Students to Teach a Lesson
1. Start Small
Let them co-teach a short segment or share a testimony before handing over the whole night.
2. Coach the Prep
Meet ahead of time to brainstorm ideas, review their main points, and help with scripture application.
3. Provide Tools
Give them a simple outline, example lesson, or key questions so they feel confident and focused.
4. Create a Safe Space
Remind the group that they are there to listen, encourage, and learn—not critique.
5. Celebrate the Effort
Affirm their courage and highlight one thing they did well in front of the group.
