Slip N Slide Connect Four Game

Quick Explanation

A fast-paced, wet twist on Connect 4 where players slide down a slip & slide, grab a game piece, and race to drop it into a giant Connect 4 board. First team to connect four wins!

Supplies Needed

• Slip & slide (long enough for a good run-up)
• Giant Connect 4 game (or DIY version)
• Plastic rings or discs (2 different colors for teams)
• Water source (hose/sprinkler to keep slide wet)
• Cones or markers for start line
• Towels (optional but appreciated)

How to Play

1. Divide players into two teams. Each team gets a color of rings.
2. Set the giant Connect 4 board at the end of the slip & slide.
3. Players line up at the start.
4. One player from each team goes at a time:
   • Run → slide → grab a ring → place it in the board
5. After placing their piece, they run back and tag the next teammate.
6. Teams continue rotating players until someone connects four in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal).

Rules

• Only one player per team can go at a time
• Players must slide (no running around the slide!)
• If a player misses the board or drops the piece, they must fix it before tagging the next person
• No blocking or interfering with the other team
• First team to connect four wins the round
