Blind Pudding Hopscotch

Quick Explanation

A messy, hilarious twist on hopscotch—players are blindfolded and must cross a taped grid while avoiding hidden puddles of pudding.

Supplies Needed

  • Painter’s tape (to create a grid on the floor)
  • Cups or spoonfuls of pudding (chocolate, vanilla, etc.)
  • Blindfold
  • Open indoor space (tile or easy-to-clean floor is best)
  • Towels & cleaning supplies (trust me)

How to Play

  1. Use tape to create a large hopscotch-style grid on the floor.
  2. Place small amounts of pudding in random squares (spread it out so it’s not obvious).
  3. One player at a time is blindfolded.
  4. The goal: make it across the grid without stepping in pudding.
  5. Teammates guide them using only verbal directions (left, right, forward, stop).
  6. Player moves square by square until they reach the end—or step in pudding!

Rules

  • Must stay within the taped squares
  • Blindfold stays on the whole time (no peeking!)
  • Only verbal directions—no touching or guiding
  • If you step in pudding, your turn ends (or add a penalty)
  • Keep movement controlled—no jumping wildly
